Cab Plastics is the leader in Engraved Signs of all kinds. Since 1977, we have manufactured all types of Plastics, Brass, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel Signs. These signs can be made from 1" x 1" all the way up to full 48" x 96" sheets. Our equipment includes Computerized Engraving Machines, Large Table Routers up to 4 feet by 8 feet and Laser Engraving up to 24" x 48". With all work done on premises, including Engraving, Routing, Silk Screeening, Sublimation and Metal Finishing, we are able to supply the best quality products at moderate prices with fastest possible turn around time. All this is to meet or exceed the customers expectations!
ADA Signs
Cab Plastics has been supplying quality ADA Signs since the early 1990's. Commonly known as Americans with Disability Act, we started by making "Applique" type of raised letters. This means the letters are applied to the background. We cut these using a laser engraver, that precision cuts and spaces the message, then we apply what is called "Rastor Braille". Commonly known as braille balls or beads, we machine drill small holes in the signs and then small ball (rastors) are put in by tension fitting into the holes. The applique type of ada sign is generally more cost effective than photopolymer. We began to supply photopolymer type of ada signs in 2000. Photopolymer is a one piece plastic type of ada sign. Generally this is used in more high end locations like municipal locations and office buildings. Photopolymer is more costly due to the process, however more customization is available. For example we custom paint the photopolymer with Matthews Paint system. This in house system allows the mixing of any pms or custom color, in any amount necessary in house. Our capabilities are large, our services offered are many and our pricing is moderate.
Plastics Fabrication
Cab Plastics is also capable of many types of plastic fabrication. We custom cut all types of Plexiglas and Sintra. we custom cut, bend, polish, drill laser cut and rout any size. We custom fabricate displays and many different plexiglas items. As a custom fabricator, our limitations are endless. There is no job that is too small or large for us to handle.
